Pastoral Aide
OBJECTIVES:
- The Hospitality/Culinary Ministry maintains control of the food pantry and extensive kitchen inventory, and advises all ministries that plan to serve food. Other ministries planning to use the kitchen and dining facility must notify the director prior to the event and be properly instructed as to the facility usage requirements.
- Pastoral Aide Ministry strives to provide assistance to the Pastor’s as needed, based on guidelines set by the Senior Pastor. At the request of the pastor, the aide committee may take care of a variety of duties around the church or in the congregation. Members of this ministry may accompany the pastor on home or hospital visits, handle administrative duties, organize and restock church supplies, or provide office assistance. The aide ministry usually attempts to anticipate the needs of the pastor and fill them before he/she asks. They also coordinate planning activities related to the Pastor’s anniversary celebration and other opportunities for members of the FICCF congregation to honor the Pastors during the course of the year.
