Living out God’s calling. Leading by building meaningful relationships.
Pastor Joseph and Apostle Charlezetta “Char” Nixon serve as the visionary leaders of Freedom in Christ Christian Fellowship Ministry (FICCFM). Pastor Nixon, a United States Air Force veteran, accepted his call to ministry in 1986 and has faithfully pastored congregations across the nation, including churches in California, Washington, Colorado, and Los Angeles. He holds degrees from Bethel College and Faith Lutheran Theological Seminary, with additional graduate studies at Bethel Theological Seminary and Fuller Theological Seminary.
Apostle Char Nixon is the founder of Transformation Ministry and co‑founder of FICCFM. Known for her powerful preaching and apostolic mandate, she has ministered nationally and internationally—training, equipping, and mobilizing believers for healing, deliverance, and prayer. Licensed as an Evangelist in 2002 and set apart as an Apostle in 2009, she established Blessed Ministries Interdenominational Ministry, which later became Freedom in Christ Christian Fellowship Church and expanded into FICCFM. She also founded Army of Love Ministry, a prayer ministry serving the LGBTQ community and their families.
Together, Pastor Joseph and Apostle Char lead a ministry committed to prayer, healing, deliverance, and equipping the Body of Christ. They are blessed with five children, six grandchildren, and one great‑grandson, and continue to serve with unwavering faith, integrity, and love.
